Richard Lowery serves as a Client Consultant at Think Technologies Group, where he has built his reputation on making technology partnerships feel less like vendor relationships and more like having an IT expert on your team. As the primary relationship contact for thinkIT clients across Florida, Richard conducts regular meetings, hosts educational lunch-and-learns, makes on-site visits, and ensures every client knows their technology partner is genuinely invested in their business success.

Richard's journey to becoming thinkIT's relationship champion began with 14 years at the University of Florida, where he managed the Computing Help Desk, overseeing a team of 35 full-time staff and 70 student workers while supporting over 100,000 annual tickets with a $4 million budget. This experience managing complex operations taught him that exceptional IT service is not about technology alone; it is about understanding people, communicating clearly, and delivering solutions that genuinely work.

That people-first philosophy led him to transition into the MSP space, where he now leverages his technical background and service management expertise to ensure clients feel like Think is their IT department, not an outside vendor.

Richard's calm-under-pressure mindset extends beyond the office. As a former scuba instructor at UF from 2008 to 2018, he still explores Florida's best dive spots with his wife, because sometimes the best perspective comes from getting below the surface.
